The Best of Roswell: Top Ten Moments and Episodes

Season 1 Episode1: “Pilot”

At the restaurant, an argument between two customers get out of hands when one of the guys pulls out a gun and shoots, which ends up getting Liz in the stomach. While losing a lot of blood, Max saves her life, and Liz finds out he did it with his super alien powers.

Season 1 Episode 22: “Destiny”

Dealing with the aftermath of escaping Max from the FBI, the gang seeks help from Sheriff Jim to make things right by killing Pierce and bring back Nasdeo. In which they learn, Max was their leader and has been sent to Earth with his young bride, Tess, Michael was Max’s second in command and is engaged to Isabel. The four of them were destined to be together, and learn to use their powers to fight their evil enemies on Earth and free their kind.

Moment: Liz and Max’s First Official Date (Season 1 Episode 10: “Balance”)

Season 2 Episode 5: “The End of the World”

Future Max time travels to the present day Roswell to get Liz to change Present Max’s life path as the world in the future is about to end because Max didn’t end up with Tess like he was “destined” to be with since Max and Liz are married. In order to fix this, Liz must make Present Max fall out of love with her, and it works as she arranges Present Max to see her and Kyle in bed together.

Season 2 Episode 7: “Wipeout”

The Skins have wipeout all humans in Roswell, to separate and reveal the Roswell aliens with the exception of Liz, Maria, Kyle and Jim as they were all outside of Roswell before the wipeout. Together the seven of them must figure out a way to protect the Granilith from Nicolas and the Skins, and bringing back the humans before they vanish as well.

Season 2 Episode 10: “A Roswell Christmas Carol”

It’s Christmas season, and it’s the time to give. Max makes amends for feeling guilty of not saving a man’s life after saving his own daughter’s life by curing kids who had cancer, including Brody’s daughter. Else where, Michael tries to give Maria the perfect and sentimental gift with the help of the Christmas Nazi, Isabel, and Tess reminds Jim and Kyle how Christmas should be spent as a family.

Moment: Alex and Isabel’s First Kiss (Season 1 Episode 16: “Sexual Healing”)

Season 2 Episode15: “Viva Las Vegas”

Michael thinks he’s being haunted after Laurie’s aunt and uncle pay him off with $50,000 and believes blowing all the money in Vegas will clear his conscience. He tells Maria to plan the trip after she begs to tag along, which eventually gets the entire gang to go for the weekend and literally spends every penny as promised. Except, Liz is having a horrible time knowing that’s she’s in the city where she and Max supposedly got married.

Season 2 Episode 21: “The Departure”

Everything is set and ready to go for their departure. Max, Michael, Isabel and pregnant Tess say their painful and heartbreaking goodbyes to their human friends as they head back to their home planet, except a major conflict occurs when Kyle’s memory returns and Liz puts the pieces of Alex death together, and reveal Tess killed Alex. Everything changes seconds before the ship leaves back to their home planet.

Season 3 Episode 10: “A Tale of Two Parties”

It’s New Years Eve and Liz is stuck with a family tradition to host a party for some retirement home folks at the Crashdown Café and rather spend it with Max, until she realizes family won’t always be around and decides to spend it with her dad. Meanwhile, Michael breaks the cycle with Maria as she goes and finds the Enigma party with Max. Lastly, Jesse is stuff at the Houston airport leaving Isabel to spend the night with Kyle and him find a girl, only to realize he has feelings for Isabel.

Season 3 Episode 12: “Ch-Ch-Changes”

Liz has a big college interview in a few days, but she’s experiencing some major changes in her life, dizziness, hallucinations, and the strangest of them all, alien powers. In this episode, Liz learns she’s changing because Max saved her life by using his alien powers, and believes to figure out and get her life in order is to leave Roswell. Elsewhere, Maria’s life is changing as well as she gets an offer from a record label.

Moment: Prom (Season 2 Episode16: “Heart of Mine”)

Season 3 Episode 18: “Graduation”

In the series finale, Liz sees the future, and has a vision of Max, Michael, Isabel, and herself getting killed.  The four along with Kyle, Maria, Jim and Jesse figure out their next move and come up with a plan to avoid getting killed by the Special Unit in the FBI even if it includes leaving Roswell. In the end, Max, Liz, Maria, Michael, Isabel, and Kyle leave Roswell literally right after their high school graduation to protect them selves, avoid the law while doing good to the world.

What a long, strange trip it’s been. Will we ever go back? I don’t know. Even I can’t see everything in the future. All I know is that I’m Liz Parker… and I’m happy.”
